Pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade education in Lafayette County is provided by two school systems, one serving students in Oxford and one for those in other areas of the county.

Lafayette County School District

The Lafayette County School District’s goal is to provide education focused on creativity, leadership, and good health to its approximately 2,900 students. District details include:

Oxford School District

The Oxford School District provides quality education to help students become responsible and active participants in their communities. Details on the district include:
