Chamber Celebrates 2025/2026 with Gala on May 21 & Annual Meeting on May 27
The Oxford Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is anticipating a packed and exciting May, with their Red, White and Blue Gala on the evening of Thursday, May 21 and their Chamber Annual Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, May 27. The Annual Meeting is at the Inn at Ole Miss from 11:30am-1pm. The Gala is from 7 to 10 pm, at the Ballroom at Castle Hill Oxford, featuring the highly acclaimed Chamber Chef Shuffle and the Cody Riddle Band on stage! This is a black tie event, so wear your cocktail and floor length gowns, as well as tuxes and suits!

In 1986 Mr. Cannon handed over the dealership to Michael Joe Cannon, his son, and since then it has grown to 11 franchise stores, and 3 used car lots throughout Mississippi and Arkansas. Michael Joe’s passion for automobiles, customer service, and the south are also shared by his son Tyler Cannon, who manages Cannon Ford LINCOLN store in Cleveland, Mississippi.
