Blues Archive

The Blues Archive is on the 3rd floor of the J.D. Williams Library at the University of Mississippi. The archive contains over 60,000 sound recordings; 20,000 photographs; 1,000 videos; and 34,000 books, periodicals, and newsletters.

J.D. Williams Library

The J.D. Williams Library has rotating exhibits on its third floor. Past exhibits have included William Faulkner’s Books, Highlights from Archives & Special Collections, Mississippi and the Civil Rights Movement.

L.Q.C. Lamar House Museum

The Lamar House Museum was built in 1869-70 and was turned into a museum to interpret the life and career of the distinguished 19th-century statesman, L.Q. C. Lamar. The house contains professionally designed exhibits.
